For now, this is only used in type hints to improve IDE autocompletion.

The only functional effect is that you cannot do unset( $dp-&amp;amp;gt;foo )
anymore (makes phan unhappy). Using $dp-&amp;amp;gt;foo instead should be
fine; in PHP there&amp;amp;#39;s no real difference between a property being null
or not being there at all (other than situations where the latter would
trigger an error), empty/isset/?? all treat them the same way.
The only exception would be property_exists, but there&amp;amp;#39;s almost never a
reason to use that.
