Improve logging and default pre/post processing to StreamProcess (#26)

* time the np.frombuffer call

* backoff is param of `grpc_image` and defaults to 3 (instead of random 10-20)

* time postprocessing from outside of retry loop

* always stream pre/post-processing.  Significant performance boost.
