regress: Adjust lifetime timing for julian days

Julian epoch and Julian days have a slight phase shift. To be able to
use our on the Julian epoch trained parameters also in other cases, we
adjust the seasonal cycle for the proxy lifetime calculation.

Uses a very simple method to decide between Julian and modified Julian
days where very large numbers indicate Julian days. This might not be
fully robust but should work in almost all cases.
