Commit Message

explicitly close the global event loop on exit

Works around a bug in `_UnixSelectorEventLoop.__del__`. See
http://bugs.python.org/issue23548. We could just do this in main, but
the error shows up in tests to, and a global `atexit` call fixes
everything. We can revisit this if we stop using the global event loop
someday.
