Clean up logging with progress bar

Logging now only occurs if the ingestion is called with a non-tty
output stream. If it is a tty then you get a nice progress bar
which is based on the number of uncompressed bytes read from the
source emu file. Also in this commit is use of the ingest stats
return and the removal of the feeder monitoring function.
