Commit Message

Refactor the WrongContainedType handling in validate_field_value.

This improves coverage and improves an error message. Instead of trying to redo the same thing twice when we don't make any conversion changes, we raise an earlier error.

Also drop depenency on toolz; cython can do this faster locally.
