add a very, very simple call caching mechanism

- pass useCache: false to callEndpoint to not use it
- an end application that is running for long periods should use the
  clearCallCache() function to destroy the contents to avoid out of
  control memory allocation and such
- purpose of this is to deal with repeated requests for the same data
  in long running applications, to reduce throttling, and increase speed
