replace compile.t with simpler work alike that works in a few seconds instead of several minutes

The existing compile.t separately checked the syntax of every perl file, which recompiled the core modules
hundreds of times and so took several minutes.  The new version manually calls eval() on each module found
in lib/, which lets perl not recompile the core modules over and over again.
