Commit Message

- Fixed signatures of Measurement classes. They used *varargs for dimensions after default
  arguments, which forces the caller to pass all default arguments in order to pass
  dimensions as well, or can easily lead to the error of not passing all
  of them and binding a dimension object to the wrong variable [e.g. Measurement(dim0, dim1)].

- Removed implicit None return from some functions and used explicit
  return values or raised exceptions instead
