feat: v1.17 update (#63)

* 6 tests passed, minor adjustment needed to actual source code/plugin

* 16 tests working

* 30 passes, adjusted plugin register function to throw instead of calling next()

* 42 passing

* 57 passing

* Update travis node versions to only support node 8 and 9

* All tests passing, removed multiconnection tests

* Corrected some of the linting issues

* removed temporary --lint-fix

* 2 spaces indation for src files

* reset to 2 tab indentation for src files

* Renamed "reply" function parameters to "h"

* Added return statements to test

* Removed redundant check in order to achieve 100% coverage

* Corrected all linting issues. Mostly indentation and missing empty line in beginning of functions.
