Remove "Acknowledgements" section from README.md

Acknowledgments are important, but are typically given in time-tied
forums (mailing list, blog posts, etc).  A permanent acknowledgements
list in a README.md is almost certain to become out of date quickly.
The issue tracker and commit logs provide a trail of who did what.
