feat: add --version cli option (#87)

* Add version option to the linter

Add command line option to the linter to display the version declared in the `package.json`.
Also added `.editorconfig` to allow for consistent code style with the rest of the code base.

* Update README with version in the help statement

* add requested finishing touches
