Fix #131 Handle escapes nested in an instruction

If an escape is nested in an instruction and a single whitespace
character follows it before its first argument, the argument gets
mistakenly chained onto the instruction. The whitespace should not be
dropped and instead considered as a proper delimiter between the
instruction and its first argument.
