Mitigate and/or suppress pytest warnings (#248)

* test_schema: refactor deprecated unit test parametrization:
The ability to 'yield' tests in pytest for test parametrization has been
deprecated. The affected unit tests have been updated to use the new
recommended method for programmatic test parametrization.

* Temporarily suppress warnings in tests related to schema versioning
* wcs: suppress extraneous warning from astropy in pytests
* Fix typo in test_generic_io used for pytest skipif
* Add workaround to properly close underlying file handles in unit tests
