Changes to support not using the Sign In page for authentication.  Rather, if you configure the authentication as "sso" and provide a redirect link, then the system will call the login API when the user first hits the site and if it comes back that the user is not logged in, then they are redirected to the SSO link.  If they are logged in, then they just continue on.  Note that the code assumes that the username will come back from a successful login call, in addition to tickets.
