Commit Message

Prevent the creation of invalid Records or Fields — throw an exception instead.

Remove the public isValid() methods. Instead, do validity checks from within the
constructor, and throw an exception on failure. The nested exceptions should
provide the basis for an error logging system: that’s the next step.
