fix(render): `render` observable will no longer return the react instance.

React instance no longer returned by the render observable. React docs state that returning the
react instance from render is now depricated and will be removed in future versions. If needed use a
ref on the root component to get access to that instance. see: [react
docs](https://facebook.github.io/react/docs/react-dom.html#render);
