Commit Message

docs: improve README formatting, structure, and wording

Reorganize the README with a proper Overview section, logical flow
(Getting Code → Building → Tests → Architecture → Interfaces →
Examples → References), and new Architecture/C++ Examples tables.
Fix markdown table column alignment throughout, standardize code-block
language tags, correct typos, and remove informal phrasing.
