Update getRevision() and setRevision() to allow for the possibility that $revision may contain an empty string. (#52)

* ENT-7793 | Update getRevision() and setRevision() to allow for the possibility that $revision may contain an empty string.

* ENT-7793 | Add null data provider and update test to use it as empty strings are now allowed.

* ENT-7793 | Suppress incorrect PHPMD warning about $matches in a preg_match() statement.

* ENT-7793 | Revert change to getRevision() check so that it only throws an exception on null value.
