bc: Trigger deprecation warning for methods/classes

The next major release (0.8) is about to have its first RC.
The current 0.7 branch shall inform developers about breaking changes
beforehand.
We are triggering an deprecation warning for most of the methods
or classes that will be removed or changed,
to help developer adapt to the new version.
