Evaluate sub expressions separately so that stop on error works better

Currently if there are commands contained in the .list files and they fail,
the START_DOCKER_CONTAINER script does not fail. Passing them into intermediate
variables helps. Now if the last command in the .list file fails the script
will stop.
However, this solution is still not 100%. If there are multiple commands in
the .list file then as long as the last command passes the script will
continue. Not sure how to fix this but at least it's better now than it was.
