Shared buckets (merge commit)

Merge branch 'feature/shared-buckets' into 'main'
* Add env OVERRIDE_PROXY_URL which enables us to test the binaries in DEV and QA for older Ubuntu VMs

* Fix unit tests

* Enable the use of shared buckets

* Move some functions and create the Repo type

* Remove all Windows-related code and save them separately for possible later use
