add lint-scripts CI job, fix SC2181 shellcheck warnings

Add lint-scripts job to CI: validates YAML frontmatter in all .md
files (standalone script, prunes .git and vendor) and runs shellcheck
on all .sh files (excludes .git and vendor).

Fix SC2181 in 3 scripts: replace $? check after command substitution
with if ! idiom in the Ghostty AppleScript block.
