fix: improve token refresh and error handling

- Reduce `maxBody` log truncation to 1000 bytes.
- Add recovery logic for 500 Internal Server Errors during
  token regeneration.
- Simplify error propagation in `fetchBatched`.
- Use `http.StatusNotFound` constant for clarity.
