[patch] Refactor run (#466)

* Parse the executor before formally starting to run

* Extract finally and exception routines

That can be extended by children

* Refactor: remove variable

* Refactor: slide

So the run methods are grouped

* Refactor: rename to private

* Remove unused lines

* Refactor: slide

group runnable overrides together

* Format black

* Add docstrings

* Call super

Even though right now it doesn't do anything
