Add HitFormatter and {Search}Hit substring properties

Addresses the source-code related part of #2612
since `OGKUnifiedHighlighter` allows straight-
forward, alternate formatters.

`HistoryContext` is still a custom highlighting,
so it will still return HTML-like content.
