global: frontpage and theme updates

* Fixes issues with ADMIN_BASE_TEMPLATE not being set.

* Adds new front-page template and front-page view (optional) to render
  a basic front-page. (closes #90)

* Changes theme colors from gray to inveniosoftware.org default.
